Frequently asked questions
How long does a commission take to do?
This will depend on a few different variables, including the size of the commission and the number of pets. Please take into consideration popular holidays such as Christmas as these are particularly busy times. Please book your commission with plenty of time in advance. I will personally update you on the progress throughout the drawing stage!
How do I take care of my portrait?
Avoid keeping the portrait in direct sunlight. Even with the highest quality materials, this can still slowly fade the pigment in the pencils.
Avoid keeping your commission in damp, humid areas as this could affect the longevity of the portrait and paper.
If you don't opt for a frame I will provide you with a card envelope to keep the portrait safe until you can find one for yourself. The previous points still apply for keeping your portrait in pristine condition. Please see the pricing page for the sizes of my commissions.
How do I send you my pet images?
When do I pay?
I require a deposit of 25% for the security of your booking, the remaining balance will be required on completion with your full approval.
Do you ship products internationally?
Yes, please contact me for an estimated quote. Shipping could take upto 1-2 working weeks to arrive, so please allow plenty of time in advance.
Do you offer framing?
Will you be sharing my portrait on social media?
I will only share the portrait on social media with your permission. So if you’re purchasing the portrait as a present, there won’t be spoilers! All the photographs you provide will stay confidential as I know these are sensitive and personal possessions.
What is the price of a pet portrait?
This varies between the number of pets and portrait size, please see pricing page for more detail.
